They started with rave party, behind the mixing console then on bigger mixing console in a triangle tower.

Thomas Bangalter.
They both grew up in Paris and met in the Lycée Carnot, a French college in Paris.
AS they didn't liked the music of the 90's, they started together to make their own music, using samplers and old discs.
The first hit was "Around the World", with a very hypnotic choregraphy with skeletons and stairs. (the lyrics were about "around the world" 500 times.
They are now worldwide famous following their hit "Get Lucky", playing the drum & bass robot duo.

No he isn't called Guy-Manuel, here is his Full long name like his hairs. He is the smaller robot of the Duo, the one who started with a digital keyboard and guitar when he was seven.
The eiffel tower was burning on the 14th of July with the song Robot Rock, give his voice to the harder, better, dtronger, faster song on Discovery, A british Journalist told them once that they were two daft punk of the music. They did the first part of the Chemical brother's concerts and are so called the French Touch.
Accompanied by the Chic guitarist Nile Rodgers they performed a very contemporary disco song. They are not in love with musical industry and all their success is made of theses years of hard work and independance.
