Honestly speaking, when i was asked to do this portrait, id id re-read three times the name of the band and with the help of the search engine i finally get information of this band.
Biffy Clyro is really hard to memorize, and the origin of the name of the band is still a mystery as they always give a different answer !
Scot !
The band is from scotland, simon and the twins (drum and bass duo). Their music and disc artwork are scot oriented, as they speak about moutains, death, bended trees due to the wind, great pictures in the scottish landscapes, you almost can feel the fresh air and gusty winds !
Media Black-out
They are not famous yet, mainly due to the blackout of the press : they found their name impossible to say they said once. But as they are working hard and doing music, the fans are here, waiting for them in the open air festivals and in the stadiums, they are rockin' and touring most of the time.
you wil laslo find in the portrait, some scottish things like rain, nessie monster and bagpipe, simon not shaving himself and dirty hairs, a missing puzzle piece, bear and tiger fighting underwater, biffy "mon biff" on stage in festival (live music sounds better than their album), meeting in school when younger, simon studying electronic, a black chandelier, etc....
