 Let's embark into the little intricate stories of his life : Mr Jarre study litteracy at first, working on Faust and comparison between different authors versions.

Innovative Instruments

It was time for bringing the keyboard player in front of the audience, so Thanks to Jm Jarre, with the concept of Guitar Keyboard : Without lead singer or guitar hero was ready to come a Keyboard Hero

The second instrument is the Laser Harp, wich has a big visual impact on stage, with playing with lasers, giving a cosmic dimension to the concert.

Innovative concerts

Jarre was the younger artist to play at the Opera (opening exhibition following the new Chagall paintings on the roof of Paris Opera), but he is also the first to make incredible concerts like this One : AERO. Where all the electricity used for the concert was made by the wind, a very Ecologic Concert !

Daft Punk - with Helmets !

The Daft Punk

Following my previous post about the daft punk, i decided to go on the version with the two of them wearing helmets, and here it is !

I've added new stories compare to the unmasked version, like the presence of Mr Kavinsky, Gym tonic and Electroma.

NME : Dafty Punky Trashy

Origin of the name Daft Punk.

It's a british Journalist that gave the idea of the name of the band, as he was trying to explain the music they wer producing as a Dafty, Trashy, Punky music.

They didn't care about that and used the article to found the French Touch duo we all know.

Lycée Carnot

It's a famous college in Paris and they both met here when studying. They decided there to make music they liked as all the shit of the Radios didn't pleased their tastes.

 Two robots in the desert of california, driving a Ferrari 412, other robots around and one driving a tractor...
This is the enigmatic movie featuring the daft punk robot looking for humanity.

Around the world

This is the most easy lyrics to memorize : Around the world and loop it 144 times ! The choregraphy is made of people moving with the sounds of the music :
Mummies with the drum, squeletons for the guitar, womens in bathing suits are for the keyboard and athletes ofr the bass.

this is the song from the Discovery Album, made of digital digits and robot love. There is a little vocoder drawing beside as the daft punk used their voice for the first time in this album. But vocoded voice of course, they are robot after all !

This is a video made especially for the album Discovery, and it really looks like an Harlock movie.... well it's normal if it looks like as the father of Harlock made it. The perfect pictures for the perfect songs = the perfect match.
And if you look carefully, the drummer of the band really looks like Yattaran !

Into get lucky, Take a happy go lucky singer with a big big hat, a guitar player that rocks the world with Freaky Chic Disco riffs and dreadlocks and finally put two robot on the drums and bass.
And add a palmtree of course...

Grammy Awards.

They came to L.A in 2014, dressed in white suits and white helmets. They didn't say a word, didn't thanks anyone and turn back home with 5 Grammies in their luggages.
they really did a World Hit Album !

Daft punk touch : sampling

Sampling ?

This is their trademark : Looking back in the dusty vinyl collection, get a neverheard song and picking up 2 seconds of a song and pushing the "loop" key. Most of the songs of the Discovery Album are made of samples. They actually don't play that much, more copying and pasting ol songs. We alll do that when writing on computers, well they do that  for the music !

Who is that guy ? Well this is the story of a man who wouln't have been famous if daft punk weren't.
He is an old friend of them, playing old 80's style songs and with the help of the daft punk did get his soundtrack on the movie "Drive" : Nightcall. And since that day he became famous for his old style synthe songs (P.C.H,  testarrossa).
If you like the drive soundtrack, if you like testarossa and car pursuits, if you like analog sunthe music, you will love kavinsky !

They didn't spoke during the grammies, thay didn't remove their helmets, they are the mysterious Robot Duo !

I did the portrait of Leo Messi, the Argentinian soccer genius, but i didn't do the description of the 80's Messi, called Diego Maradona (portrait of diego maradona on etsy), so here it is !

Argentinian cebollitas

The cebollitas is the name of the little boys playing soccer in Argentina, he was one of them and was playing very well, once discovered he was recruited to play in the most prestigious club of Argentina.

dreams of World Cup

Maradona was famous at an early stage, and a showman playing with balls during half time. Journalist came down and start to ask this little genius about his ambitions.
Is dream was to play the national Argentinian team and win the World cup.

Party / Drugs and Soccer

Maradona joined the F C.Barca. Well this weren't glorious times as he started to party, drink and use drugs.
Barcelona supporters don't appreciate much his beheaviours.

Leg broken by Goikoetxea in 83

During the season with Barcelona, Maradonna was injured during a play with Bilbao in 1983. A severe Tackle of Goikoetxea broke maradona's leg nad forced him to stay away for a while.

Time for revenge.
Well eight months after, maradona came back for playing the Copa del Rey against Bilbao, and this time it was showtime including tackles fights and kicks in the heads.

The iconic italian soccer god of Napoli

 He didn't stay long in spain and quickly jump over the mediterranean sea to join the itain club of Napoli.
He became so famous, people of Napoli were lighting on candles in handmade Maradona shrines.
A true iconic player.

Maradona Hand of God

During the World Cup against england, Maradona did use his hand to put the ball in the goal, it's a famous fact known as the hand of God. Well, i did saw the pictures on archives but it wasn't that clear.
However, two minutes after, Maradona dribble 6 player and mark an incredible Goal wich is also part of soccer history

stop playing and heart Attack

After his glorious days in European championship, he turns back to South america, and ended up with severe heart problems, due to eccess during his fast days.

He then decided to hang up the shoes and stop playing Soccer.

cigars, weight and doctor explanations

Years later, after working on T.V, beiing the trainer of the national soccer team in 2010, he still have doctors recomandations to not drink too much, not smoking and not eating that much.... crabs risks !

I started to copy his pictures when i started painting and it's only now that i make this portrait.

Row with his father

Vincent  doesn't really knew what to do of his life. He tried different jobs but none of them give him satisfaction.

Aftger a row with his gather, he decided to go away and take his chance into the souh of France.

Selling his artwork

Vincent van gogh had difficulties with selling his artwork, like many painter, and among the 3 or 4 sold pictures, one was bought into fill a hole on the roof of a barn.

Heading for the south

Leaving his native belgium, cloudy skies and industrial landscapes. He was heading to the south, land of sunny countrysides, mediterranean trees and warm weather.

Inspired by the life in south of france, he started to paint typical scenery, like people taking a nap in the shades of haystacks.

This picture is based on the picture of Van Gogh "the blue room" , including the bed, the chait, the table and tea pot.

Van gogh is famous for his picture with his ear cut. It all happens following a row with Gauguin, using a saber.

Auvers sur oise

The church of auvers sur Oise is also famous for the picture he did, but the cemetery is also famous as it's where Van Gogh and his Brother are resting in Peace side by side.

Absynth

Van gogh had some strange behaviours and one of them could be explained with drinking too much Absinth, this vintage drink.
The shape of the glass is triangle shaped, e special shape for serving this precious and delicate liquid.

Another famous picture : "Terrasse de café la nuit".
It's  a picture i like much. I made a copy yearas ago that i still have in my bedroom in France.
