Their first name as a Band was "Tom and Jerry" in 1957, So we had Paul simon as Jerry Landis and Garfunkel as Tom Graph (actually decided by the recording studio), maybe is there a link with the cartoon as i used to draw a giant Art and a little Simon in their biographical Portrait.

It was a reunion concert in the heart of Central Park, after breaking up and pursuing solo careers both of them. The park commissionner expected 300.000, they got more than 500.000 ! making it one of the biggest concert in the history of Music.
The stage was an urban rooftop with water tank and air outlet, a symbol of New York's skyline.
